There are two broad ways to start a study in Elaiia: let the AI research agent build it with you, or set it up yourself. Choose the one that matches how settled your research question already is.

Your AI research agent

The research agent asks what you want to find out and configures the study around your answer. Choose this if you are new to Elaiia, exploring an idea before committing to a full design, familiarising yourself with market research, or running a quick pilot.

Describe your idea

Explain your idea, decision, or business question in your own words. The agent asks follow-up questions, then builds the full study.

Pick the format first and let the agent work out the rest around it.

Other ways to create a study

Build from scratch

Full control over study type, sample, and questionnaire from the beginning, step by step. Choose this if you have experience designing surveys, know exactly what study type you need, or are replicating an existing design.

Reuse a previous study

Copy an existing study and adjust it to your needs — the quickest route when you are running a design you have already used against a new sample.

The most flexible format — combine any question types in a free-form questionnaire. Ideal for exploratory research, concept testing, and custom study designs.

Present two or more options (concepts, designs, messages) and let twins choose. Structured for direct comparison with built-in preference metrics.
